SICIS and DongPeng Ceramics sign agreement

DongPeng Ceramics will distribute SICIS mosaics throughout the entire Chinese market.

DongPeng Ceramics Company will be the first Chinese ceramic tile producer to distribute and sell SICIS mosaics throughout China, including Vetrite, the latest innovative product consisting of large glass sheets with special technical and aesthetic characteristics. The ambitious plan involves the opening of hundreds of SICIS brand showrooms in China’s largest cities by 2024.

DongPeng Ceramics is one of China’s largest ceramic tile producers with a production capacity of around 80 million sq.m/year. Included by the Chinese government on its list of 500 high-added-value companies, over the years it has gained important international certifications.

SICIS is the largest Italian producer of mosaic in a variety of materials and an international market leader in the field of artistic mosaics, produced in the Ravenna workshop (the largest of its kind in the world) by expert mosaicists using traditional methods. As part of its brand extension strategy, SICIS has created the SICIS Interiors division which adopts a new vision of interior architecture and is achieving success in the world market. The company is involved in a wide range of interior design projects, from super yachts to luxury hotels, public works and private homes all over the world.

The DongPeng-SICIS partnership may also develop in the ceramic sector by exploiting the manufacturing expertise of DongPeng and the artistic skill of SICIS, with the aim of creating a range of SICIS designed and branded porcelain slabs for sale in Europe.
