Squinzi chairman designate of Federchimica
The decision was taken unanimously by the federation’s executive committee which met in Milan a few days ago. Squinzi’s candidacy will be submitted for the approval of the general meeting to be held on 13 June.
Squinzi, 62, has a degree in chemistry and an honorary degree in chemical engineering and is sole administrator of Mapei, a world leader in the building chemicals sector. He has already been Federchimica chairman for three terms before Diana Bracco.
He is on the boards of Confindustria and Assopiastrelle and is vice chairman of Assolombarda.
