Stephan Schmidt Group: focus on Tecnargilla

At its completely redesigned stand at Tecnargilla 2012 (hall B5, stand 073-088), Stephan Schmidt Group will be displaying its various families of clays formulated specially for the roof tile, ceramic tile, sanitaryware and glaze sectors. These clays have ideal properties for obtaining high-quality products with the aesthetic qualities required by the market.

Depending on the finished product, they may have good sintering properties (floor and wall tiles) or high rheological stability, excellent casting rate, stable deflocculation behaviour, little warpage, low carbon content and high purity (sanitaryware). Clay mixtures with high opacity and a wide range of colours are proposed for engobes and glazes used in roof tile production.
