System Ceramics amongst key players at Qualicer 2018

System will be amongst the companies giving presentations at the technical seminars held during Qualicer 2018, the world congress to be held in Castellón, Spain on 12 and 13 February.

Entitled “Improvement of printing quality through satellites formation control”, the Fiorano-based company’s presentation will describe the results of a major study conducted by its Ceramics division’s R&D department.

The study aimed to investigate how controlling droplet formation at the exit of the printhead nozzle can improve printing quality, for which purpose it used a model developed and verified experimentally as part of a system that faithfully reproduces the digital printing process.

The results obtained can be used to make forecasts about the performance of the printing system and provide information on optimal ink formulation.

The study will be presented on Tuesday 13 February at 12.30 pm during session C devoted to Ceramic Tile Manufacture.
