Tecnografica organises open house during Expo Milano 2015
The leading companies in the Sassuolo ceramic district are organising events linked to the Expo in Milan. One of these is the renowned design firm Tecnografica, which on 13 May officially launched an open house programme at its headquarters in Castellarano (Reggio Emilia). The programme will continue for the entire six month duration of EXPO 2015, culminating in special initiatives to be held during Cersaie in Bologna at the end of September.
Tecnografica is taking part in the project "Ceramicland and Terra Maestra", an initiative promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and organised as a partnership between public and private players in the Sassuolo industrial district. The aim of the event is to introduce Expo visitors to the manufacturing, artistic, gastronomic and cultural highlights of the region through guided tours of companies operating in the ceramic industry, stately homes and castles and the Ferrari and Pavarotti museums.
Tecnografica is one of the most dynamic and original companies in the field of surface design. Visitors to the open house events will discover how young designers create artistic surfaces using their imaginations, manual skill and exclusive technologies. They will also have a chance to see how ideas are developed into industrially-made surfaces such as Tecnografica Italian Wallpaper - a perfect example of how process and system innovation can be combined with digital technology and eco-friendly materials and inks to promote a new vision of the environment in which we live.
