Tenax reports growth
Tenax Ceramica, the company owned by Tenax group (Verona) specialising in the supply of products for surface finishing of ceramic tiles, has reported a very positive 2012 in both Italian and export markets.
The results are outstanding for a company that has been operating in the ceramic for just two years with a full range of products, including full-field lapping systems, diamond and resin tools and the Fusiongres range for finishing highly textured and rough surfaces. In 2012 the company also launched a range of systems for reinforcing low-thickness large-format ceramic surfaces and for gluing various kinds of materials (glass, metal, wood) onto ceramic using glues or resins.
One of the goals for 2013 is to develop new hi-tech materials capable of competing more effectively against foreign low-cost products.
Commercial policy will focus on consolidating the company's position in Italy and a number of key markets, principally Turkey, the United States, Brazil, Spain and Iran, where Tenax Group branches have been in operation for a number of years and can provide adequate support.
For this purpose, Tenax took part in the recent Cevisama in Valencia (Spain) and will be present at Revestir (Brazil) in March and at Coverings (Atlanta, USA) in April.
