Tenax presents its new brushes for satin finish
Airgres and Evogres are two lines of resin-bonded diamond brushes developed by Tenax for a soft-touch satin finish that enhances the characteristics of ceramic surfaces.
These new-generation brushes achieve better results and offer a number of advantages compared to traditional brushes.
Airgres brushes can easily apply a satin finish to highly textured and undulating surfaces, their specific design enabling them to reach even the most inaccessible parts of the material.
Evogres brushes are used to finish off satin surfaces by removing the unsightly rotation marks left by traditional brushes during the finishing operation.
Both have above-average lifetime and effectiveness as they are not subject to the so-called “memory effect”. The blades on these innovative brushes do not undergo any kind of irreversible deformation while they are being used, and thanks to their ability to bend and then return to their original shape they guarantee the maximum effectiveness for the entire lifetime of the brush. Depending on the material and production requirements, the level of finish that can be achieved ranges from 6-7 to 20 gloss points.
Airgres and Evogres can be used on both glazed and full-body porcelain tile surfaces. They are both produced in tangential (14 cm Fickert) and satellite versions, allowing them to be used on all polishing and honing machines on the market.
The brushes are part of the wide range of Tenax Ceramica products, which include abrasive tools, resins, mastics, epoxy systems and surface treatments specially designed for optimum performance in the processing of ceramic and porcelain surfaces.
