Al-Anwar again chooses Italian technology supplied by Sacmi
The recent order is the sixth Sacmi line installed at the Omani ceramic tile producer’s Nizwa site.
Al-Anwar, the largest ceramic tile manufacturer in Oman, is moving forward rapidly with its expansion plan aimed at strengthening its position throughout the Arabian Peninsula and beyond. The new production line at the Nizwa facility is already fully operational and includes Italian-made machinery supplied by Sacmi: two PH 3590 presses suitable for the production of 60x60 cm, 80x80 cm and 90x90 cm sizes, a 20-metre 5-level horizontal dryer and a new 160-metre FBN twin-channel kiln.
With this latest order, the sixth line built by Sacmi for the Omani company, Al-Anwar has reached an output capacity of 65,000 sqm/day while maintaining excellent finished product quality, low consumption and high operating efficiency.
Since it was founded in 1998, Al-Anwar has invested constantly in the very best Italian technology and maintained a strong focus on quality. It exports its products to 20 countries in the Middle East and Africa under the Al-Shams brand.
With an eye to future development, the company has already completed construction of a new building that will house additional production lines.
