Alfonso Panzani re-proposed as chairman of Confindustria Ceramica

03/05/07 - Following consultations with the members’ base, at its last meeting the Executive Board of Confindustria Ceramica unanimously agreed to propose current chairman Alfonso Panzani as the chairman for the two-year period 2007-2008.

During the members’ meeting of 28 May, the nomination will be officially put forward for approval along with the names of the members of the new Executive Board.

Alfonso Panzani, 55, was first elected Chairman of Assopiastrelle in 2005 and was a member of the Executive Board with responsibilities for the field of Energy during the two previous two-year periods.
Amongst his many association appointments, he has been chairman of Gas Intensive and a member of Confindustria’s Industry and Trade Fairs Committee. As of 23 May this year he will also be a member of the Executive Board of Confindustria Nazionale (Italian Employers’ Federation) in Rome.
