Ancora Group supplies plants to Portobello and Gyotoku (Brazil)
Ancora Group, a world-leading manufacturer of polishing plants and systems for ceramic materials, fulfilled two major supply contracts in Brazil in April this year. A complete large-format tile polishing and squaring line was installed at the ceramic company Portobello in Tijucas, bringing to five the number of lines designed and built by Ancora in operation at the Brazilian company. The same line was also supplied to Sudano-based firm Gyotoku, which now has three lines of this kind.
These contracts confirm the importance of Brazil for Ancora Group. A total of 38 plants and machines have been installed in factories owned by the leading companies in the country, including Cecrisa Portinari, Portobello, Eliane Porcellanato, Gyotoku, Ceusa - Urussanga, Poligres, Elizabeth Porcellanato, Delta, Biancogres and Buschinelli.
Also highly popular in Brazil is the innovative nanotechnology-based Hi-Coat System which uses a combination of product and machine to assure protection of tiles from staining agents.
