Augusto Ciarrocchi nominated chairman of Confindustria Ceramica
Ciarrocchi has been nominated as chairman-designate by the association’s Board of Directors and will be elected during the Annual Members’ Meeting to be held on 12 June
After consulting with the membership base, the Board of Directors of Confindustria Ceramica has chosen to designate Augusto Ciarrocchi as Chairman for the two-year term from June 2024 to May 2026. The new Chairman will be elected during the association’s Members’ Meeting to be held on 12 June in Sassuolo along with the new team of Vice Chairmen, consisting of Vittorio Borelli, Luigi Di Carlantonio, Giorgio Romani, Alberto Selmi and Graziano Verdi.
Ciarrocchi was born in Civita Castellana (Viterbo) in 1960 and has a degree in law. Since 1999, he has served as CEO, chairman and general manager of Ceramica Flaminia, a ceramic sanitaryware manufacturer that he joined in 1986.
He has been a member of the board of directors of the Centro Ceramica in Civita Castellana since 1994 and served as its chairman for 11 years until 2019. He was also a director of the Tuscia Energia provincial consortium during the four-year period 2000 to 2004. Within the Italian employers’ federation Confindustria, he has served as Vice Chairman of Confindustria Ceramica since 2018 and was also chairman of the Ceramics Section of Unindustria Rome, Frosinone, Latina, Rieti and Viterbo from 2012 to 2020 and a member of the Confindustria Technical Committee for the protection of Italian products and the fight against counterfeiting from 2012 to 2019.

Founded in 1955 in Civita Castellana, Ceramica Flaminia is one of the most important players in the Italian sanitaryware district. It manufactures its products exclusively in Italy, adhering to the highest technical standards and embracing Industry 4.0 technologies and sustainable processes. Ceramica Flaminia employs 126 people and collaborates with renowned international designers. It exports its products to more than 70 countries worldwide, generating annual revenues of approximately €24 million.
