Azulev takes over Azulejos Sanchis

03/05/07 - Last Friday the large Spanish ceramic tile manufacturer Azulev announced the acquisition of the majority shareholding of Azulejos Sanchis.
The operation was conducted through Hujoceramic, the group that controls Azulev and in which several investment funds in turn have shareholdings.
The aim is to create organisational and management synergies between the two companies while keeping the brands and sales networks independent.

The Group�??s management expects the two companies to reach a total turnover of approximately 80 million euro by the end of 2007. Azulev is expected to close the year with a turnover of around 55 million euro and Azulejos Sanchis 25 million euro.
