Barbieri & Tarozzi wins major supply contract in Indonesia

The ceramic company Synar Karya has once again chosen the Barbieri & Tarozzi to improve its production technology.

The new plant, due for start-up by june2005, will have a production capacity of 13,000 sq.m/day of single-fired tiles in 20x20 cm, 30x30 cm and 40x40 cm sizes and will allow the Indonasian group to reach an annual production of 4,300,000 sq.m.

The supply contract includes six BM38000 mills for ceramic body production, an SD 6000 spray dryer, six mills of various capacity for glaze grinding, three VIS 2000/1750 presses, two single-channel dryers with 2650 mm width inlet, two 82.14 metre single-channel kilns and dedicated dryer and kiln loading/unloading machines.
