Barcom heat recovery system supplied to Parefeuille Provence
The new system has been installed at the facility located in Fournès in the south of France.
In September 2023, Barcom (LB Group) completed the supply of a heat recovery system to the ceramic tile factory owned by Parefeuille Provence (part of the Gambini Group) in Fournès in the south of France.
The system is designed to recover clean hot air from two flues connected to the kiln cooling systems. To make optimal use of the recovered hot air in key processes, it is sent to two vertical dryers and a spray dryer.
Significant data for the system include:
- Maximum flow rate of mixed air from kiln = 54,000 Nm3/h
- Average temperature of mixed air = 128°C
- Total energy output = 2,112,000 kcal/h
- Equivalent quantity of natural gas = 258 m3/h
This system optimises production processes and reduces environmental impact.
