Bitossi Ceramiche Historical Italian Company
Gruppo Colorobbia has welcomed with great pride and satisfaction the inclusion of its factory Bitossi Ceramiche in the Italian Register of Historical Companies, established by Unioncamere Nazionale (National Union of Chambers of Commerce). This recognition is granted to companies with at least a century of history.
The industrial activities of Bitossi Ceramiche can be traced as far back as 1871 (according to the first population census of ceramic furnaces), since when the business was passed down from father to son, from Tito Bitossi to Egidio and then Guido, whom the historic Maioliche Artistiche Guido Bitossi (1921) is named after.
Inclusion in the register, which confirms the historical origins of a group that operates in the main ceramic districts of the world, was granted in recognition of the ability of Bitossi Ceramiche to "make innovation and tradition coexist, by looking to the future while maintaining its business tradition". This innovation and tradition can be admired in the video available on the www.bitossiceramiche.it website, which demonstrates the skill of the ceramists in every stage of the artistic production process.
