BMR acquires two new Modula vertical warehouses

BMR from Scandiano (Reggo Emilia, Italy), a leader in end-of-line tile production technologies, has recently installed two new Modula vertical automated warehouses, supplied by System.

The new investment extends the materials storage capability to an equivalent volume of 840 sq.m, reducing ground occupation by more than 90%, saving on picking times and protecting the goods from theft and damage. Thanks to software programs integrated with the company's information systems, Modula also guarantees goods traceability and ease of use for the operator.

This latest installation takes the number of vertical automated warehouses at BMR to nine. They are used for temporary storage of goods used in machine construction, and for spare parts requests. The decision has proved to be a winning one, partly because customer demand can now be fulfilled more quickly.
