Bongioanni improves roof tile geometry

With the aim of fully meeting its customers’ needs, Bongioanni has developed several innovative technologies capable of further improving the design of roof tile geometry.

Using FEM (Finite Element Method) calculation it is possible to achieve the best possible mechanical strength while optimising weight and consequently reducing the energy required to produce and transport tiles.

The innovative software is capable of reproducing the stresses experienced by tiles on the roof and simulating the resistance tests performed in the laboratory for compliance with standards, replacing most of the previously essential field tests.

The Bongioanni Moulds division offers this service for all types of roof tiles and guarantees optimal product modelling.
