Bongioanni Macchine merges with Bongioanni Stampi
On 24 November last year Bongioanni Stampi was merged by incorporation into Bongioanni Macchine S.p.A., an Italian company based in Fossano (Cuneo) that has been operating for over a century.
Now one of the leading international players in the design and construction of complete lines for brick and tile production, it adopts a wet process for the stages from raw materials preparation through to product shaping. It has always devoted special attention to the stages of raw materials refining, control and upgrading of the shaping units based on extrusion (bricks, blocks, pavers) and pressing (roof tiles).
Following the acquisition of the mould and die unit, which complements the activities of Bongioanni Macchine in the shaping stage, the company now has two production facilities: the Machinery unit, with an approximately 50,000 m2 site (15,000 m2 under cover) and 108 employees (photo 1); and the Moulds and Dies unit, with an approximately 8,000 m2 site and 33 employees (photo 2).
Bongioanni Macchine is certified to UNI EN ISO 9001 and since 2012 also to standard OHSAS 18001:2007 which certifies the occupational health and safety system.
