Brazilian company Incesa chooses Migratech from LB

The Brazilian company Incesa has chosen Migratech technology from LB for its new dry milled ceramic body granulation plant.

The plant was entirely designed and built by LB and consists of GRC 700 granulators complete with an EVF 45 dryer. It is capable of processing 45 t/h of a body consisting of clay and feldspar milled to a very fine particle size.

With this new technological investment, Incesa aims to create higher quality products while pursuing the sustainability programme launched in 2010 with the modernisation of factories and installation of a new line which has boosted output volumes by 130%.

Originally set up in 1967 for the production of double-fired tiles, Incesa has been producing single-fired tiles using a raw material dry milling process since 1989. The company now occupies a unique position in the Brazilian market for its range of innovative large-format tiles with custom designs.
