bt Space, the new showcase of ceramic culture
SITI BT Group is expanding its range of activities focused on support and communication between group companies and their stakeholders (customers, employees, shareholders, institutions and schools) with the launch of bt Space, the new premises devoted to the diffusion of ceramic culture due to be opened in Ubersetto in the heart of the Sassuolo ceramic cluster.
The project will be officially unveiled on 24 May and marks the culmination of a strategy that was initiated last year. The space will host a range of events aimed at promoting ceramic culture, from process technologies through to the finished product. Along with meetings and a range of entertainments, it will be available for initiatives organised in cooperation with public institutions, trade associations and training institutes, schools and universities.
bt Space will also be used to display finished products, while the adjacent bt Room will showcase the creativity and technologies that contribute to the aesthetics of ceramic surfaces. These will include graphic design projects from Digital Design, digital decorating machines from Projecta Engineering and polishing, honing, cutting and rectification machines from Ancora.
Whereas bt Space will highlight SITI BT Group’s specific expertise relevant to all aspects of ceramic product aesthetics, bt Lab in Formigine will maintain its role as the Group’s Technology Centre. The focus here is on the know-how and technologies needed to create products with the highest levels of technical quality thanks to efficient and highly productive processes, low energy consumption and lower emissions. bt Lab will showcase all the most innovative lines for the production of tiles and sanitaryware, including Supera®, the complete line for large XXL slabs.
