Carthago Ceramic launches major expansion plan
The Tunisian construction materials producer is making a 180 million euro investment.
Carthago Ceramic (Sfax, Tunisia), the construction materials division of Poulina Group Holding (108 branches and 12,000 employees), is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan aimed at strengthening its international leadership position.
A well-known producer of ceramic tiles, bricks, sanitaryware and building adhesives, Carthago is set to build new factories for all four business areas with a total value of 180 million euros between 2019 and 2021.
This major investment comes at a time of immense economic, political and social challenges as the country continues its democratic transition.
