Cassani to lead Sacmi Group

Pietro Cassani, General Manager of Sacmi Imola, has been appointed the new General Manager of the Sacmi Group and Managing Director of H.P.S., the holding company that controls the various companies within the Group.

Cassani, who has also been Chairman of Acimac since 2008, takes over from Eugenio Emiliani who is retiring. Emiliani has been with Sacmi since 1977 and held management positions first as General Manager of Sacmi Imola (2001-2007) and then as General Manager of the Sacmi Group. Emiliani will continue to work with Sacmi on a consultancy basis, taking responsibility in particular for Negri Bossi and Carle & Montanari and the ceramic division where he has been General Manager since 1992.

Sacmi’s Board of Directors has entrusted its new top managers with the responsibility of running the cooperative in accordance with its mission statement and with the values that have always distinguished the company at an international level.
