Ceramicolor has new chairman

Angelo Lami, founder of Inco Industria Colori, is the new chairman of Ceramicolor (Italian association of manufacturers of pigments, glazes and metal oxides for the ceramic industry and a member of Federchimica) for the two-year period 2009/2010.
He was elected during the members’ meeting on 6 May, when the other board members were also renewed.

Daniele Bandiera (Ferro Spain – Italy Branch) and Marco Bitossi (Colorobbia Italia) were elected vice chairmen. The following were appointed to the executive board: Enrico Ascari (Bonet italia), Gabriele Brusa (Vetriceramici), Lucio Capiluppi (Sicer), Carlos Ferrer (Esmalglass), Enrico Garino (Pemco Emails), Andrea Giambi (Torrecid), Tarcisio Lamecchi (Coloritalia), Carlo Alberto Ovi (Smalticeram Unicer), Rodolfo Pini (DEF di R. Doni), Gino Romani (Endeka Ceramics) and GrazianoVignali (Metco).

After graduating in chemistry, Angelo Lami has worked for more than 40 years in the ceramic glaze and colour sector. One of the main goals of his term in office is to offer companies all the support they need to adapt to the new standards, in particular REACH, which will have a major economic impact on the sector’s companies.
