Ceramika Podkarpachka chooses the new automatic cutter from Cosmec

The hi-tech but simple-to-use system allows customers to diversify their product ranges with minimal changes to their existing lines

As part of an industrial conversion plan aimed at transforming the existing plant from the production of roof tiles and pavers to loadbearing masonry blocks, Ceramika Podkarpachka (Poland) has installed the latest version of the automatic cutter developed by Cosmec.

Designed to meet the needs of flexibility in the brick and tile production process, the new cutter is ideal for any kind of product, whether bricks or tiles, but achieves its potential most effectively with in-line cutting of masonry blocks.

The hi-tech but simple-to-use system allows customers to diversify their product ranges with minimal changes to their existing lines. The machine’s operational flexibility allows for the production of both blocks and bricks (including products with chamfered edges) on the same line, thereby minimising investments in automation
