Cerbras renovates the storage system

Last February, the Brazilian ceramic tile company Cerbras renovated the storage line which serves a kiln with a capacity of 26,700 sq.m/day of tile formats from 33x33 cm to 60x60 cm.

The renovation included the installation of a Nuova Era kiln loading line, three maxi equalizers for the storage of unfired products with a fifty-level structure, and the kiln unloading system.

This type of technological solution tested by Nuova Era is receiving a great deal of attention in Brazil as a result of its capability to handle the high production rates and volumes which are typical in the Brazilian ceramic industry.

The system, in fact, guarantees the storage of approximately 750 mt of unfired product with a high level of reliability in a contained space, thanks to the fact that the three maxi-equalizers work in parallel and side by side through simple transports, without the use of units or complex handling systems.
