Certech Group sees strong growth
In 2021, the consolidated turnover of the group’s Italian companies grew by 40% to more than €52 million.
Certech Group (Casalgrande, Reggio Emilia) continues its growth trend, closing 2021 with a consolidated turnover of €52.6 million (up 40% on the €37.6 million of 2020), excluding the revenues generated by its foreign branches Certech USA, based in Lebanon, Tennessee, Certech Spain in Onda (Castellón de la Plana) and Certech Mexico in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
All the Italian companies in the group led by CEO Alberto Palladini contributed to the excellent results: Certech SpA posted 17% revenue growth; Eurorubber Industries, a Ponte Taro di Fontevivo (Parma) based company specialising in the production of rubber compounds for a variety of industries (ceramics, automotive, agriculture, tyres, etc.) and acquired in January 2020, saw 65.6% growth in sales; Vibrotech, a world leader in the field of vibrating screens and iron removers and a key player in the development of Ink Refill Technology, the innovative ink refilling system for digital ceramic printers, also reported a significant increase (+73.3%).
Two other Group companies also posted double-digit growth: Rubbertech of Bagnacavallo, Ravenna (+15% on 2020) and Mistral Italia, a producer of chemical additives for the ceramic industry, run by President and CEO Laura Palladini (+20%).
According to Alberto Palladini, the outlook remains positive for the current year despite the problems caused by spiralling energy and material prices and difficulties with raw material procurement.
