Chini Cord (Iran) orders Italian technology

30/06/03 - The order received by Garoll for the supply of technology to Chini Cord, a major Iranian ceramic sanitaryware manufacturer, has now entered the implementation stage.
The initial objective is to increase production capacity at the Kermanshah plant by 855,000 piece/year in stock. However, this is just the first stage in a project that has even more ambitious objectives.
For this reason, Garoll is preparing additionally to supply conventional casting plants for the production of WCs using the LEM-48RA manipulator, which automatically demoulds the pieces and subsequently positions them on the conveyor belt;
HPC-201/140 type press casting plants with automatic robots for the production of washbasins and other pieces that can be created with two-part moulds;
RGS robotised glazing lines in which the new plant concept makes it possible to combine flexibility and total process automation through the complete modularity of the various components;
two 61 metre first-fire tunnel kilns with glaze drying pre-kiln; a six-car shuttle kiln for refiring. This order demonstrates that Garoll is a reliable and competitive supplier of turnkey plants.
