Cleopatra Group to open new factory

15/01/07 - Cleopatra Group, a leading Egyptian ceramic tile and sanitaryware manufacturer, is completing the construction of a new tile factory in the Suez region.

The new facility will have 18 lines to be started up in two phases by the end of 2007 and will have an output of more than 3 million sq.m/year.
The plant, designed by the company’s technicians, will be equipped exclusively with Italian technology supplied by leading companies in the sector including Sacmi, Eurofilter, Tecnoferrari, Euromeccanica and Nuova Omip, which will supply the glazing lines.

Some 40% of the new factory’s production will be sold on the domestic market, while the rest will be exported to the Cleopatra Group’s main outlet markets, including the Middle East, Arab countries and Japan.
