Colorobbia to host Open House in Vilafamés

From 27 February to 3 March, Colorobbia’s Spanish branch will host an open house presenting the company’s latest innovations in the field of digital decoration.

During the upcoming Cevisama to be held in Valencia from 27 February to 3 March 2023, Colorobbia will open the doors of its Spanish branch in Vilafamés for an open house showcasing its latest innovations, a new range of solutions that allow for more sustainable, cost-effective production of high-quality three-dimensional surfaces.

One of the solutions on display will be the latest set of digital glues for gloss and matt finishes, formulated with the latest generation solvents capable of optimising the ratio between the deposited ink volume and the quantity of solid applied to the tile surface, thereby reducing certain types of emissions.

This series completes the FORMA Plus concept made up of three perfectly compatible product families: Extra-Glazes 3DTech (water-based digital glazes), Graffiti series (inks with water-repellent effects) and Neogrits Collection (grits and special grits). FORMA Plus can be used to create textural and three-dimensional effects before and/or after digital decoration, even when starting out from a completely smooth surface. One characteristic that makes these materials particularly useful for creating exclusive designs is their ability to combine and adapt different types of structures by depositing water-repellent effects and grits directly on the tile surface and/or at the end of the line.

Visitors to the event will also have a chance to discover the new AIR Evolution set of solvent-based digital inks (coloured inks, effect inks and water-based digital glues), which minimise emissions and odours under high discharge conditions while maintaining their distinctive characteristics during the decoration and firing processes.

One particularly interesting solution in the field of technical porcelain floor tiles is the new Micro-Tech microgranule series, which achieves R9-R11 anti-slip values with attractive textures and excellent Mazaud abrasion test performance.
