COLLECTIO 2026: consolidating Italian innovation in the Far East

Record attendance for the fourth edition of the event organised by Colorobbia on 22-23 May in Vietnam.

With more than 280 international participants, 24 leading Italian partners, two days of strategic conferences and hundreds of one-to-one business meetings, COLLECTIO 2026 has reaffirmed its status as a benchmark event for the international ceramic industry.

The annual event organised by Colorobbia took place on 22-23 May in Da Nang, Vietnam, drawing a record turnout of customers, partners, designers, speakers and stakeholders from across the Far East.

Following the success of previous editions held in Ho Chi Minh City (2023), Bali (2024) and Bangkok (2025), COLLECTIO continues to grow, consolidating an international format that combines technological innovation, high-level networking and a strategic vision for the industry’s future.

Bringing together nearly 300 professionals and executives and showing steady year-on-year growth, the event demonstrated its strong appeal even against a complex geopolitical backdrop, further consolidating Colorobbia’s position as a leading industrial and creative partner in Asian markets.

COLLECTIO continues its core mission of bringing the most advanced Made in Italy innovations in materials, technologies, surfaces, design and sustainable manufacturing processes to key Far East markets, offering local manufacturers practical tools, high-value content and fresh growth prospects.

A central focus of the 2026 edition was sustainability, addressed not as a mere communication trend but as a strategic lever for the future competitiveness of the ceramic industry. Research, production efficiency, material innovation and the development of high-performance surfaces were at the core of the discussions, with the aim of combining aesthetic quality, industrial value and long-term impact reduction.

The title of the event, Shaping the Future: Italian Innovation & Sustainability, perfectly captured the shared vision of the conference speakers: integrating technological innovation, environmental sustainability, process efficiency and the enhancement of Italian know-how to build solid and enduring growth models.

Reflecting the international scope of the initiative, Colorobbia and Industrie Bitossi were joined by 24 of Italy’s leading manufacturers of machinery, technologies and materials for the ceramic industry (Air Power, Certech Group, Digital Design, Fabbrica del Sale, Inkside, Intesa, Inter Ser, I-Tech, Lamberti, Nitida, Origostyle, Poppi Clementino, Projecta, Sacmi, SITI-Gruppo B&T, SMAC, Smaltochimica, Surfaces Group, System Ceramics, Tecno Diamant, Tecnoferrari, Tecnografica, Vincent VST and Z&S Ceramco), together with prominent international experts in design and architecture.

The one-to-one business meetings were also highly successful, fostering direct dialogue between partner companies and customers from the afternoon of the first day through to the close of the event, generating new opportunities for collaboration and business development.

“COLLECTIO has once again proved to be a strategic and exclusive meeting point for the leading players in the Asian ceramic industry, enriched by the distinctive value of Made in Italy,” stated Elia Bitossi, General Manager of Colorobbia Ceramic Division. “It is an international hub for exchange and cross-fertilisation between different markets and visions, where new opportunities and new growth models can emerge.”

The event also provided an opportunity to preview some of the key innovations that will be unveiled in September during the international exhibitions Cersaie and Tecna.
