Concorde Group acquires stake in Mirage

12/10/04 - A few days before the start of Cersaie in Bologna, the Concorde Group (turnover 400 million euro) announced that it had acquired a substantial majority shareholding in Mirage Granito Ceramico, an historic company specialising in the production of high-end porcelain tile.
In detail, the shareholding was acquired by Ceramiche Caesar, one on the Group's companies.
Mirage, based in Pavullo (province of Modena), will continue to be independently managed and will retain its own sales network. Company continuity will be assured by the presence of the Sirotti family and the fact that Mauro Mazzi is staying on at the head of the company.

The synergies that will be established between the two companies will allow them to address the ongoing internationalisation process more effectively.
The Concorde Group already operates in France with two factories in the Lyon area and is currently building a factory near Moscow in Russia; Mirage has begun an industrial partnership with a local company in Russia.
