Participants will discuss local phenomena, styles and products that have the potential to become transnational influences.
Marco Pedroni, a cultural sociologist and expert in coolhunting methods, will talk to interaction designers Michele di Pasquale and Giovanni Sgambato from New Design Center in Bologna; Luca Ferigo will offer an overview of the discipline of exhibition design, explaining how it relates to graphic design, video, interactive and interior design; and Emilio Lonardo from the Polytechnic University of Milan will discuss the trends that determine the way we use shared spaces in our cities.
