Durst Ceramic Printing delivers excellent results
The Brixen-based group has completed a successful 2023 and announced new managerial appointments for 2024.
The Durst Group’s Ceramic Printing division experienced strong growth in 2023, surpassing expectations and marking a successful year for the company.
“By July, we had already far exceeded our targets, testifying to the vibrancy of this market and the strong interest in our digital printing and glazing systems,” notes Johann Strozzega, Global Sales Manager at Durst Group.
This result solidifies the Brixen-based group’s technological leadership in the field of ceramic tile decoration, achieved through its constant investment in R&D and its close cooperation with customers and partners.
To continue on this growth trajectory, Durst Group has announced that it is expanding the Ceramic Printing division’s management team. Luca Pinotti, who previously served as Digital Glaze Application Specialist at Durst, has now assumed the role of Market Manager Ceramics. In this capacity, he is tasked with overseeing market operations and maintaining continuous communication with distributors and customers. He will focus on applications and on devising innovative solutions to meet and anticipate the needs of the highly demanding and competitive ceramic tile industry.
Another new appointment is that of Clemens Dejaco, formerly Head of RockJET-Technology R&D, as Product Manager Ceramics. Dejaco will collaborate closely with customers, taking charge of all technical aspects. His responsibilities will include project and product management, as well as leading the internal team of engineers in the implementation and development of technology.
“We are confident that these two new figures, who will work in close cooperation with the R&D department, will bring significant added value to the Ceramic Printing division and will enable us to respond rapidly to the growing market interest in our innovative Gamma DG digital glazing technology,” adds Strozzega.
Durst’s success in the ceramic tile industry is a result of its continuous R&D efforts and technological innovation, leading to the development of advanced digital printing systems such as the Gamma XD series. These solutions have long been the market benchmark in ceramic decoration and have been installed in large numbers all over the world. The exclusive Gamma DG technology has also been adopted by some of the world’s leading ceramic companies, many of which are based in Italy. Installations were completed in various parts of the world in 2023, with particularly strong interest in Spain.
