Dvarcioniu Keramika celebrates 115th anniversary and launches production line

07/01/04 - SC Dvarcioniu Keramika, one of the largest and most advanced ceramic tile manufacturers in the Baltic states, celebrated its 115th anniversary on 20 November 2003. The celebration events were attended by more than 700 guests from numerous countries, including Lithuania, Spain, Italy, UK, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, South Korea, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

During the ceremony, the company also officially opened a new state-of-the-art production line supplied by Sacmi, which will produce glazed porcelain tiles for the first time in Lithuania. “At the age of 115 our company has reached maturity,” said Juozas Raiselis, president of Dvarcioniu Keramika, “This is why we have chosen the state-of-the-art equipment from Sacmi to allow us to produce extremely high-quality porcelain tiles.”

Guests at the celebration included Algirdas Brazauskas, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, along with members of parliament and the government, Mykolas Aleliunas, Vice-President of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, Adakras Sestakauskas, President of the Lithuanian Builders’ Association, and staff of Dvarcioniu Keramika.

All Dvarcioniu Keramika products are manufactured to LST EN ISO/IEC 17025:2000 standards.
