EFI unveils its "digital ecosystem" at Tecnargilla

Tecnargilla 2014 was the platform chosen for the official launch of "EFI ecosystem", the complete package of digital solutions from EFI and Cretaprint including the C3 Plus and C4 printers, the new digital inks and the upgraded version of the EFI Fiery proServer colour management system, which ensures consistent colour quality and low ink consumption.

As CEO Guy Gecht (pictured) explained, EFI recently brought its experience as world leader in the UV ink segment to the field of ceramic inks with the introduction of a range of 7 colours (dark blue, reddish brown, yellow, golden yellow, beige, pink and black) along with special effects including lustre, glossy glaze, matte glaze and extra white.

Also unveiled at Tecnargilla were the Cretaprint C4 printers, which use EFI advanced electronics and ensure greater reliability and printing quality. With a printing width of up to 745 mm, they can hold up to 8 individual bars that can be pulled out for ease of maintenance. With a compact footprint and light weight, they have a new user interface and advanced nozzle plate cleaning system to reduce maintenance costs and energy consumption, and a newly designed transport system ensuring greater accuracy with precision alignment.
