Egypt looks to large formats with System

Al Omaraa, an Egyptian ceramics company based in Cairo, has installed System technology in its large format sorting division, where it produces the "La Beauté" brand. The completely automated grinding division comprises two highly productive lines capable of handling formats of up to 120x120 cm.

The products are conveyed to two Easy Line BS 08 lines with Falcon Portal Millennium palletisers, which sort, package and palletise the tiles. Daily productivity, working round the clock, is around 8,000 square metres for each of the two kilns for the 60x60 cm format and around 5/6,000 square metres for each of the two kilns where the 90 x 90 cm format is fired.

A client of the Fiorano Modenese-based company since 2005, over time Al Omaraa has installed some Easy Line sorting systems and fitted all its glazing lines with Rotocolor decoration systems.
