E.I.D. Parry (India) Ltd. now firing with a Sacmi tunnel kiln
The kiln will be able to fire 3,000 pieces/day and is the first kiln in India to be fitted with the latest temperature control systems. The burners are of the high-speed open flame type and the electrical system features a PC that monitors and controls every single cycle parameter (manual control can also be used).
For the same slip and glaze raw materials, the uniformity of temperature and parameter control across all kiln zones allow for the production of sanitaryware items of exceptional brilliance with a very low percentage of breakages compared to products fired inside traditional brickwork tunnel kilns.
