Elettromeccanica Malaguti obtains SKF Certified Partner certification
The Gmm Group’s subsidiary is to date the only electromechanical company in Italy to have received this recognition.
Elettromeccanica Malaguti, the Gmm Group’s subsidiary specialising in industrial revamping and reconditioning of electromechanical components, received the prestigious SKF Certified Partner certification last September, becoming the only electromechanical company in Italy to have obtained this recognition to date.
Elettromeccanica Malaguti has been operating for more than 30 years in the Modena ceramic cluster and in the food and biomedical sectors and has made the circular economy its key strength. It specialises in the recovery and electromechanical reconditioning of critical components such as electric motors and precision spindles for grinding lines, which are subsequently reinstalled on production lines with a significant improvement in performance and durability.
The recent certification is part of a programme to provide premium reconditioning services backed by reputable partners such as SKF and involving the adoption of best maintenance practices and consistent and clearly-defined quality standards. This enables the Gmm Group to distinguish itself in terms of its service to industrial customers and achieve its goal of reducing the customer’s total cost of ownership (TCO) while guaranteeing the reuse of industrial resources.
