GMM USA: innovation and energy efficiency in the US market
The GMM Group’s US subsidiary in Clarksville, Tennessee is continuing to expand and gain market share.

The worsening energy crisis is posing a major challenge for industry, particularly for companies keen to maintain high production and quality standards despite rising costs.
In this scenario, GMM USA, the Fiorano Modenese-based GMM Group’s American subsidiary founded in Clarksville in 2016, stands out for its rapid growth driven by industrial revamping solutions and innovative technologies for improving energy efficiency and sustainability.
A prime example of GMM USA’s success is its recent supply of a 1020 kW mill motor to one of the leading ceramic manufacturers in the United States. This advanced solution is specifically designed to prevent costly and prolonged machine downtime while optimising energy consumption and supporting the company’s environmental sustainability strategy.
Manufactured entirely in Italy, the motor is a six-pole, servo-ventilated, inverter-controlled model developed in collaboration with some of the Group’s strategic partners. Key strengths include its steel casing, which ensures better heat dissipation, and its high IE4 energy efficiency rating, which allows for a significant reduction in energy consumption. This brings tangible long-term benefits including lower operating costs and a substantial reduction in CO₂ emissions thanks to a lower energy demand.
By combining high-value technologies with the expertise of its technical team, GMM USA delivers solutions that integrate quality, functionality and energy efficiency. This approach is not only strengthening customers’ trust in the American subsidiary but is also driving its expansion in the US, allowing it to gain an increasingly significant share of the market.
