Ferrari&Cigarini supplies systems to Ceramiche Marazzi and Opoczno

Ceramiche Marazzi has confirmed its choice of Ferrari&Cigarini to renew the automatic feeding system for the cutting and grinding lines in its Sassuolo facility.

Ferrari&Cigarini, which supplied the first plant in 2002 (expanded in 2005) to handle sizes up to 60x60 cm, completed installation of the new Ecoforce3000 in June this year. The line is designed for depalletisation and automatic unpacking (GSP 1200) of large sizes (up to 60x120 cm) and is equipped with an anthropomorphic robot with a special gripper.

In September, Ecoforce 3000 for large sizes will also be installed in the facility of Opoczno, Poland (Cersanit Group), where in 2011 Ferrari&Cigarini already started up a complete plant to feed two lapping and rectifying lines.

The plant is covered by an international patent and allows for a major reduction in handling, packaging disposal and labour costs, while also reducing the amount of space used for storage.
