Ferro to the Grandesign Award DesignEtico 2007

22/09/06 - From 26 September to 8 October 2006, the Milan-based cultural association Plana is presenting the second edition of the exhibition International Grandesign Award DesignEtico 2007 in cooperation with Alisea Arte & Object Design of Bologna.

In conjunction with Cersaie, the Grandesign event is presenting part of the collection exhibited in April at a Fuorisalone initiative in Milan.
For the last fourteen years a meeting point for design professionals and companies, the biennial event focuses on the ways in which a design object can be manufactured with special attention to the fundamental nature of human beings. Ethics in design thus testifies to and reflects a way of living.

Ferro will be taking part in the initiative again this year with a number of design objects. One of these is the Ferro 2007 diary made from recycled materials which again features an exclusive art project by well-known Spanish painter Joaquin Falcò representing the company’s philosophy and demonstrating how it is possible to combine creativity and design with ethics and attention to the environment.
