The first 50 years of Manfredini & Schianchi
Half a century of history and technological success in the ceramic sector is an achievement well worthy of celebration. Manfredini & Schianchi, a company that designs and builds innovative systems and solutions for raw materials milling based in Sassuolo at the heart of the Italian ceramic district, invited customers, associates and friends to a large party to celebrate its first 50 years of activity.
The event, held on the evening of 26 September at the Grand Hotel in Rimini during the week devoted to Tecnargilla, served as an opportunity to thank everyone who has worked with the company and helped it continue to achieve excellent results even in difficult times for the sector.
The founders Umberto Manfredini and Gianfranco Schianchi are proud to have passed on to the next generation not just the leadership of the company but also a passion for the business.
Visibly moved, their sons Fabio, Stefano and Daniele Schianchi and Alessandro Manfredini commented on their years of hard work, aware that although the market has changed it still offers incentives and opportunities. The shared goal is to continue with the same strength and determination, focusing on newly developing countries and on innovation, service and all-round technological support, from raw materials through to the finished product warranty.
Manfredini & Schianchi is looking to the future and along with greater internationalisation will continue to strive for cost-cutting and energy-saving solutions. A long-term vision has always been one of the company's key characteristics. Since 1994 it has maintained a presence in Brazil (one of the BRIC companies) with its own branch (M&S do Brasil), where it has revolutionised the dry grinding process.Did you find this article useful?
