Giuseppe Lesce named new chairman of Federmacchine
Elected on July 23rd, Giuseppe Lesce will guide the Italian Federation of capital goods manufacturers for the two-year period 2019-2020.
Giuseppe Lesce has been appointed as the new chairman of Federmacchine for the two-year period 2019-2020, taking over from Sandro Salmoiraghi.
He was officially nominated on 23 July during the Members’ Meeting of the Italian Capital Goods Manufacturers’ Federation, which consists of 13 separate national trade associations.
Lesce has a degree in electronic engineering from the University of Bologna and is the general manager of the Customer Service division of Sacmi Imola.
He is on the board of Federmacchine as the representative of the Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers’ Association Ucima and since 2017 has held the position of vice chairman.
In his new role he will be supported by the two vice chairmen Gabriella Marchioni Bocca (representing Assomac) and Riccardo Rosa (Ucimu). Alfredo Mariotti was re-elected as the federation’s secretary general.
