Granitifiandre reports first-half growth
The company reported a particularly significant increase in brand sales to 70.2 million euro, 17% up on the 60 million euro to 30 June 2005. The increase in Europe was 18.3%. The result achieved by the German subsidiary Porcelaingres was particularly significant because it went against the local market trend, with a 28% increase in turnover.
Following investments in an intense promotional campaign to promote penetration of the StonePeak brand, the company’s products are becoming increasingly popular in the North American market with significant growth in both the United States (+46%) and Canada (+16%).
In view of the strong results in these markets, Granitifiandre has decided to make an investment of 15 million euro to increase production capacity at the American StonePeak factory.
