Granitifiandre reports increase in turnover
Revenues totalled 79.5 million euro, including 43.1 million euro in the second quarter (18.4% up on the first quarter of 2004 and 9.7% up on 2003).
Over the same period there has been a significant increase in sales of brand products, more than 30 million euro compared to 25.8 million euro in the corresponding period in 2003.
Domestic market turnover is also up (+11.2%), as are revenues in the European market (+30.7%). The company achieved particularly strong performances in France (+23%), Spain (+41%), Switzerland (+26%) and Hungary and Slovenia, where sales volumes have more than tripled.
Likewise in Germany, sales have more than doubled (+137%) with respect to last year to reach 440,000 square metres, largely due to the contribution of the controlled company Porcelaingres.
Porcelaingres has also stipulated more than 170 new sales agreements, while numerous German dealers have chosen to install “Trend Stone” corners designed for showcasing the brand in keeping with the style of Granitifiandre stores.
