Graziano Verdi leaves GranitiFiandre - Iris Ceramica group

Graziano Verdi, Chairman and Managing Director of GranitiFiandre - Iris Ceramica, has terminated his contract with the group founded by Romano Minozzi by mutual consent.

The news came as a surprise and left a number of scenarios open. Already once in the past, Graziano Verdi had left GranitiFiandre to move to Technogym, but on that occasion he had stayed on as a board member and returned to the group a year later. The official statement released yesterday by GranitiFiandre-IRIS Ceramica group adopts a different tone with the announcement that Graziano Verdi and the group have agreed to "part company by mutual consent".

GranitiFiandre thanked Graziano Verdi for his valuable and prestigious collaboration over the course of many years and for the major contribution he made to the company's stock market launch. It also expressed its appreciation for his work as an investor relator and for the delisting carried through in the interest of all shareholders at a price more than 50% above the market value at the time of the delisting decision.

GranitiFiandre group and Romano Minozzi thanked Graziano Verdi for his invaluable contribution to promoting the GranitiFiandre image and brand over the years.
Graziano Verdi in turn expressed his gratitude to Romano Minozzi and the company for the opportunity they gave him to acquire the high level of experience and professionalism for which he is renowned both within the company and amongst the business and financial community and media.
