Gruppo B&T receives order from Stone Italiana

Stone Italiana has commissioned Gruppo B&T to supply a complete plant for the production of reconstituted quartz slabs, which will be delivered to the Verona factory by the summer of 2023.

Gruppo B&T (Formigine, Modena) has received a major order from Verona-based reconstituted quartz furnishing surfaces producer Stone Italiana for a complete plant to be delivered by the summer of 2023.

In addition to processing reconstituted quartz, Stone Italiana will also use B&T’s cutting-edge technology to produce Cosmolite® slabs, its new brand of hi-tech kitchen countertops created entirely from 100% recycled quartz-free minerals.

To enter the quartz market, Gruppo B&T launched its B&T Quartz division offering a completely new technology along with a comprehensive, fully integrated service that aids customers in the pursuit of emerging trends and the development of new collections and products.

Shortly after its launch, B&T Quartz has already received its first orders, including one from Stone Italiana for a plant incorporating all process technologies: slab forming using an innovative vibration-free press with no foundations; digital decoration, a world first that allows for unlimited aesthetic creativity and maximum size flexibility; and the finishing line, complete with calibration and polishing.

The plant was custom-designed according to the needs of Stone Italiana, a brand renowned in international markets for its technologically advanced and aesthetically appealing Italian-made products.
