Gruppo B&T at Tecna 2024

The group will occupy an entire 4,000 square metre exhibition hall and will showcase 20 new technological innovations.

At Tecna 2024 in Rimini, Gruppo B&T will be presenting an unprecedented array of highly innovative technology solutions aimed at maximising productivity and reducing operating costs while maintaining a strong emphasis on sustainability. The group will showcase its full brand lineup (SITI, Ancora, Projecta, Digital Design, Diatex and Mec Abrasives), demonstrating its increasingly green vision with offerings designed to achieve maximum energy efficiency.

Occupying the whole of Hall D7 in the Rimini Expo Centre, Gruppo B&T is looking to solidify its position as a leading name in the industry. As a supplier of complete plant engineering solutions, the group covers everything from raw materials preparation through to end-of-line packaging solutions, and places special emphasis on the critical production processes of full-body decoration, pressing and firing. With its strong focus on product aesthetics, the group supplies advanced technology for high-end graphic design, including digital printers and finishing solutions, and draws from its extensive expertise to support customers globally.

The intense and continuous R&D activity carried out in the bt-LAB technology centre in Formigine (Modena) reflects the Group’s focus on innovation, complemented by a global presence and a dedicated customer service department that provides after-sales support, spare parts, tools, treatments and consumables.

The group will be presenting more than twenty technologies at the show, including SITI thermal machines such as a zero-CO2 emissions dryer and a hydrogen-powered Titanium H2 module; Venus, Lapis and Dune technologies for full body decoration; the Lynx vision system for vein detection from Projecta; the Wizard and Magister sorting lines; and LGVs for automatic product handling. However, the real highlight will be the Supera® Rapida mouldless pressing technology, which offers outstanding size flexibility thanks to the pre-fire cutting process and has already been installed in more than 10 countries.

Projecta will take digital decoration to the next level with the Ikon Plus and Blaze printers and will enhance 3D textures with Dryfix and Digifix. Alongside its hugely popular Tornado technology, Ancora will be launching Vortex, a new turbo-lapping machine which visitors will be able to see at the stand and as a demo at bt-LAB during the exhibition. Subsidiaries Diatex and Mec Abrasives will also be displaying their tools and treatments featuring technologies affiliated with the brand.

Another new feature is the bt-GREEN corner dedicated to sustainability issues, where a series of speakers will discuss the green evolution within the ceramic and other industries.

“We are confident that the technologies we bring to Tecna 2024 will be the best in the market in terms of both productivity and sustainability, with a constant focus on savings,” commented Fabio Tarozzi, Managing Director of Gruppo B&T. “But we are continuing our research efforts and are already developing new solutions that will reaffirm the undisputed leadership of Italian technology in the global ceramic machinery industry.”
