Gruppo Minerali acquires Maffei

28/02/07 - The Iris Group has sold to Gruppo Minerali its majority interest in Maffei, a company operating in the ceramic and glass raw materials sector and listed on the Milan stock market since 1986.
The group led by Romano Minozzi has generated 45.5 million euro from the sale.

Gruppo Minerali consists of five companies and seven production sites, including six in Italy and one in Tunisia. In 2006 it produced 2.5 million tons of raw materials.
