Hispacensa orders further Migratech technology from LB

Guatemalan ceramic wall tile manufacturer Hispacensa recently signed an agreement with Fiorano, Italy-based company LB to expand its existing raw materials dry milling plant, also supplied by LB and in operation since 2012.

Encouraged to make this new investment by the excellent performance of the first plant, Hispacensa has placed an order for a complete Migratech line including a raw materials treatment and crushing line, an MRV140 mill and a powder microgranulation line.

LB's ongoing research into dry milling technologies with microgranulation has enabled it to combine quality, efficiency and energy saving in the production of ceramic bodies, setting new quality standards compared to conventional systems and opening up new frontiers in the field of large sizes with dry milled bodies.

This latest order strengthens LB's presence in the Central American market and confirms the company's leadership position in the segment.
